The places for the Schönbrunn Zoo night tour on Tuesday are fully booked. Due to high interest we have also made a alternate tour on Monday available - limited places are still available!.

This time you will be able to enjoy Vienna in the summer, so do consider bringing along your spouse/family for a city trip. Taking into account that many of you have already been to Vienna, we have arranged the social program to show you new angles of the city. We are sure that you will enjoy the variety of social events that will be a relaxing complement to the scientific program.

We will be having a licensed tour-guide onsite to advise on any touristic questions you may have. She will also give guided tours "off the beaten track" during the day.

Within the premises of Schönbrunn is the "Schönbrunner Bad"- a great place to cool off after sessions (open till 22:00 hrs).

Join us at following social events

  • On Monday 11.7. in the evening will be the traditional Welcome Reception / Networking (included in registration fee)
  • On Monday 11.7. & Tuesday 12.7. we will offer a night tour to the animals of Schönbrunn Zoo

Part of a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site with the imperial summer residence of Schönbrunn Palace at its centre, it provides a unique blend of culture and nature, while promoting conservation and biodiversity. The zoo’s special appeal comes from its imperial charm.
